Support

Nightsesh is an AI study platform for iPhone, iPad and Mac. It turns your classes and your own material into notes, practice cards, Chat study, Voice study and Walk & study. Need help? Email [email protected]. A real person reads every message, and we aim to reply within 2 business days.

When you write, please tell us which device you're using (iPhone, iPad or Mac). Never send passwords or payment details. We never need them.

If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, any time), or call 911 in an emergency. You can also text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line). Nightsesh's support email isn't watched around the clock.

Plans and billing

How do I pay?
All payments go through Apple, using the payment method on your Apple Account. We never see your card details.

What do the plans include?

Yearly Plus and Pro start with a 7-day free trial. Prices are in U.S. dollars. The price shown in the App Store before you buy is the one that applies.

How do class notes work?
Record a class on your iPhone, iPad or Mac. Ask your teacher first, and Nightsesh will check with you once for each Subject (class). Recording and the transcript are free and happen on your device, and the audio never leaves it. Then tap Make my notes. Nightsesh turns the transcript, your jots and marks, and the text from any board photos or slides into organized notes: the big ideas, definitions, what your teacher stressed, and questions to check yourself.

Notes count the length of the class, so a 50-minute class uses 50 minutes of notes time. Your notes hours refresh every month and don't carry over. You can edit notes yourself, ask the AI to change them (like "split this by topic"), use Quiz me, and add them to a Subject so Chat study and Voice study can use them.

What are "replies" and "pages"?
Each plan includes an amount of AI help each month. Asking Chat study a question uses a little of it. Turning pages of your material into cards, checking a photo of your work, Quiz me, and asking the AI to change your notes use some too. "About 33 replies" means typical questions. Long questions, or ones with photos, use a bit more. Anything big shows what it will use before it starts.

Studying cards you already have is always free and never uses your AI help. Each month of your plan adds new AI help (yearly plans add it month by month). The app shows what you have left.

How do voice minutes work?

How do I cancel?
On iPhone or iPad: Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › Nightsesh › Cancel Subscription. On a Mac: open the App Store, click your name, then Account Settings › Subscriptions › Manage. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for. If you cancel during a free trial, you won't be charged. (Apple: cancel a subscription)

How do I get a refund?
Apple handles all refunds. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, choose the Nightsesh purchase, and pick "Request a refund". We can't issue refunds ourselves, but if something went wrong, email us and we'll help. (Apple: request a refund)

I paid, but Nightsesh doesn't show my plan.
Open Plans in Nightsesh and tap Restore purchases at the bottom. Make sure you're signed in to Nightsesh and to the App Store with the same accounts you used when you paid. If it still doesn't show up, email us with the date of purchase. Never send your password.

My parent needs to approve it (Ask to Buy).
If your Apple Account is in a family group with Ask to Buy on, the request goes to your parent's device. The plan unlocks as soon as they approve, so you don't need to buy it again. If it doesn't appear after approval, open Plans and tap Restore purchases. Parents, see our page for parents.

Can I share my plan with my family (Family Sharing)?
No. Each Nightsesh plan covers one student and isn't shared through Family Sharing.

Can I switch plans?
Yes, on Nightsesh's Plans screen or in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › Nightsesh. Apple handles the timing: upgrades usually start right away, and downgrades start at your next renewal.

Account and privacy

How do I sign in?
With Sign in with Apple. First confirm you're at least 13. You can choose to hide your email, and Apple then gives us a private relay address.

How do I delete my account?
In Nightsesh: Settings › Account › Delete account. This permanently deletes your study account from our servers: your synced Subjects, material and uploaded files, notes, cards, chats, progress, feedback and balances. It can't be undone.

Deleting your account doesn't cancel an Apple subscription, so cancel that first (see above). Subjects, notes and recordings saved on your device stay there until you delete them or the app.

Who sees my material?
Only you, unless you share a Subject. Nightsesh's AI sends the material you choose to Anthropic (text and images) or OpenAI (voice) to answer you. Class recordings, board photos and scans are turned into text on your device, and the audio and pictures aren't uploaded. See our Privacy Policy.

Can I use Nightsesh without AI?
Yes. Turn AI study help off in Settings › AI & privacy. You can keep studying the cards and notes you already have, and recording and transcribing classes still work.

Safety

Is Nightsesh safe for teens?

What happens if I tell Nightsesh I'm not okay?
Nightsesh shows a support card with ways to get help right now: call or text 988, or call 911 in an emergency. Nightsesh doesn't notify anyone, and it doesn't block studying. Please reach out to a trusted adult too.

How do I report something?

We review every report. We remove content that breaks our Terms of Use and can close accounts that break them. For something urgent, email us with "Urgent" in the subject line.

Nightsesh's AI got something wrong.
It's AI, not a person, and it can make mistakes. It shows where each answer came from in your material, so you can check. Please report the mistake. It helps us fix it.

Getting started

What can I add?
Typed or pasted notes, photos of notes, whiteboards, textbook pages or slides, PDFs and other documents, handwriting (iPad with Apple Pencil), class recordings, and your teacher's study guide.

Which voice does Voice study use?
Marin, unless you pick another. Choose a voice in Settings › Voice, and tap play to hear each one first. The voice changes only how Nightsesh sounds.

What is Walk & study?
A short spoken study session made from your Subject, with a few quick questions. It downloads before you start, so it plays without a signal.

Can I use Siri?
Yes. Say "Record class", "Make notes from my last class" or "Quiz me on my last class", or use the Record control in Control Center, on the Lock Screen or on the Action button.

Before recording a class, check your school's and teacher's rules on recording.

Which devices work?
iPhone and iPad with iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 or later, and Mac with macOS 26 or later. Your Subjects and notes sync across devices when you sign in with the same Apple Account.
